I remember, as a child, being SO relieved that I couldn't wear the "Pretty Plus" fashions at Sears. (If they had it NOW, maybe....) I knew what it meant at age 10. What were THESE people thinking?
They're still around, yes, but you'll notice they DON'T sell children's/juniors' clothes anymore!
