Nebraska Winter Poem

It's winter in Nebraska
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At thirty-five below.

Oh, how I love Nebraska
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave Nebraska
I'm frozen to the ground!

I guess I'm glad I'm in north Florida even though it's cold here too--but not THAT cold. Stay warm, Mary.

You're so sentimental, Mare. LOL

Don't kill me, but the sun is shining, the sky is white-washed blue, the snow is glistening, I'm working in a Winter Wonderland.

Ooh, Janet.
I can sense Mary's glaring at you all the way across the country ;-)

Janet would not speak like that to me if she was within slapping distance.

We're all super excited in Nebraska today. It's 20, that's 20 ABOVE zero.

Some sunbathing going on.

So does that mean they've stopped ice-skating on the pool already, to get it set up for swimming?

I'm late to the fun. But loved the poem and comments. :)

Wish I could see you slap Janet, though. [evil grin]
