we have cows in the pasture next to our house and we love watching the babies this time of year! sometimes even being born :)
last year a little one was curled up in the snow all alone as i was driving home and i got out of the car to check on the poor little dear
i about scared him half to death and then his mom came running from around a hill and about scared me half to death :)
ps--i just finished "Montana Rose" and LOVED it!!! can't wait for "The Husband Tree"

I wished I'd taken my camera with me a few days ago when we found a newborn.
So I remembered this time but it would have been fun to show you a tiny, still wet baby. Well, a little messy too, maybe not PURE fun. :)
