Six More Weeks of Winter? Ask him!...I mean her!

***update***
This little guy gal, born into a blizzard in the night.
He She didn't see his her shadow for so much as ONE SECOND.
My cowboy goes out and checks several times and found him her about 5:30 am.
And brought him her  into the basement.
He She is resting comfortably (the calf, not the cowboy) even though he she was born into
ONE DEGREE BELOW ZERO TEMPERATURES.
And speaking of resting comfortably, as I look more closely at this picture,
I think THAT'S MY GOOD COAT HE'S SHE'S SLEEPING ON!!!!
Sigh
From where I'm standing it looks like we've got a LOT of winter left.
Happy Groundhog Day

Yeah, well, I live not too far from Phil & have no idea how he saw his shadow when there isn't enough sunlight to produce shadows! Even now - hours after the event - it's still yucky. I'm hoping it was just because of the camera flashes...

He's been evicted.
Back out with his mama.
My cowboy, nickname PESSIMIST, thinks the mama is going to reject him, forgot she had a baby this morning.
who are you? She asks while munching her hay.

We have ways of making her be a mama but it's a lot simpler if she just STEPS UP.

Mary,
What a beauty. Your GOOD coat? Must've been your hubby doing that. Men don't understand. Hope mamma gets her memory back. Stay warm!

It's a girl.

Groundhog Day is good for movie material, but overrated for weather forecasting.
