I drove up the hill to the house I used to live in....1/4 of a mile up the road...so you get a vision of how wild and crazy my life changed due to that move.
Can you see it back in there? We've lived in this neighborhood for 33 years now. And this is the WORST snow drift ever.
Look how high it is on the left side of my car.
And look on up the road...yes it's a road...on up the hill...no one takes the road in the winter.
It's one of those Lessons Learned from the Donner Party situations.
Can someone please call the Global Warming Police and ask what we can do to speed up the warming process.

This Texas gal just can't wrap my mind around being in so much snow!
Moved 1/4 mile? 20 years ago we bought and moved into the house next door to where we were!
Linda, what wild behavior. Do you look back at your youthful decision and stand in awe of your courage to move away from all that was save and familiar to you to face the risks of NEXT DOOR.
Wow, that's a lot of snow. I grew up in Upstate NY and PA and I still think that's a lot of snow.
Hi Mary:
Did you read the news yesterday that Global Warming has been put on hold for twenty to thirty years while we have a mini ice age?
It seems the earth self-corrects and when there is too much CO2, the earth cools down. Now I know what they meant in earth science classes when they spoke about the Gaia hypothesis.
My, it wasn’t that long ago that the “Gaia” goddess enjoyed the following that the Global Warming goddess now commands. It’s hard being a pagan. I’m glad I’m not.

So, Vince, should we all rush out abnd start driving Hummers to warm things up? I'm game.
Mary Not sure about wanting Global warning to speed up not sure I can handle to many more heatwaves with several days over 40 which is about 110.
we use to get 5 or so a summer over 40.
we just had 4 in a row! and have had about 8 or so this summer already. and its not half way through yet.
according to reports Dec was several degrees warmer than normal as was the whole year here. We had a very mild winter with hardly any frosts which is unusual for us. But it seems the north is suffering with cold worse than normal and we with heat worse than normal so maybe they cancel each other out?
I'm astounded. I don't think I even saw that much snow in Colorado or New Hampshire on the ski slopes.
