DON'T CONFUSE ME WITH THE FACTS

I'm blogging today at Petticoats and Pistols about historical research for my book. Stop by.

Mary, you are soooo funny. Thanks for signing Golden Days. Loved the book. Must have taken a lot or research for this book.
Could I get a copy of Golden Days signed for my friend, Donna? She was with me when you were in Norfolk at the Abby. You can get my address from Janell and I will send you a check.
Thanks, Sue or Suzie Denton

I liked your article. To answer your closing question on the blog post, geographic inaccuracies in fiction don't bother me when I'm reading, but misusing and misquoting famous historical figures does. Uninformed people tend to take those things as facts.
Example: Dan Brown and The DaVinci Code. He practically started a new cult with the gross historic inaccuracies he published.
