Mary, You always manage to make me crack up no matter what site you're on. I think it would be great to read author's childhood works, lol. I know I had a particularly moving piece as a fourth-grader about Santa's Salty Soup. I think I had just learned about alliteration and added as many "s" words as I could to my story, lol.
